TRAVEL VIBES: NYC EDITION
It is no surprise (like many other 20-something year olds) that I love to go to New York City and explore the city that never sleeps! This is such a great place for people who have food allergies/ intolerances because there is absolutely so many options! I've created "TRAVEL VIBES" to document all of the places I've been, and the restaurants I've eaten at that are friendly to my diet!
Favorite Restaurants

The avocado toast with the gluten free bread is to DIE FOR! One of the best I've had! This vegan restaurant, located in West Village, is quaint and adorable. Make sure to go at opening at 11am, because the line goes out the door by 11:30am!
Lilli and Loo
Located in the Upper East Side, this Asian Cuisine restaurant offers a huge dedicated gluten free menu! From egg rolls to pad thai to orange chicken, all of your Asian food cravings can be found here! I highly recommend this place!
Beyond Sushi
With multiple locations throughout the city, this vegan sushi hotspot is the place to be! Delicious gluten free and vegan sushi that tastes phenomenal! The Sweet Tree roll is my favorite roll. If you're not in the mood for sushi, there is always other options like rice paper wraps and soups!
Tompkins Square Bagels
Located in the Lower East Side, Tompkins Square Bagels have THE BEST gluten free bagels I have ever tasted!!!!! This is something worth getting excited about! Not to mention they have 6 different flavors of tofu cream cheese. It's a gluten free dairy free heaven!
Favorite Bakeries
Erin McKenna's Bakery
This is my all time favorite spot in NYC. I have loved every single dessert I have bought from this place. A dedicated gluten free vegan bakery, Erin Mckenna's Bakery is the holy grail. I am obsessed with their donuts and their chocolate chip cookies.
Treat House
Gourmet rice krispie treats. Thats right, GOURMET RICE KRISPIE TREATS. The presentation and packaging is to die for and the different flavors offered are delicious and beyond what could be bought in the supermarket. They even make their own marshmallows!!
Hopefully this will help anyone who were looking for gluten free/dairy free friendly places! (or just want to eat healthy or try new places)
